0. Privacy policy updates

1. Data access, data collection, data use, and data sharing

No data, personal or otherwise, is collected by the StuPlayer app.

2. MacOS permissions

StuPlayer asks the user to grant access to the folder containing m3u files and tracks.

The app calls this folder the root folder. Read and write access to the root folder is required.

However, write access is only used by the app to produce log and lyrics files.

The log files are called StuPlay0.log and StuPlayer1.log and they are written to the root folder.

Lyrics files have the suffix .spl and they are written in the same location as the corresponding track.

StuPlayer does not contain ads.

5. Changes to the privacy policy

StuPlayer reserves the right to make changes to the privacy policy for each new release of the app.

These changes, if any, will be clearly stated in the release notes.
